Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships

Posted on 12/05/201613/05/2019 By Reedz

The Australian High Commission will deliver an information session on the Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships program next week, with opportunities for fully-funded postgraduate study, research and professional development in Australia in 2017.

These internationally competitive, merit-based awards, support citizens of the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development programmes in Australia, and for Australians to do the same overseas.

Two recipients from Brunei have previously been awarded scholarships under this program.

The scholarships aim to develop ongoing educational, research and professional linkages between individuals and their organisations. Scholarships range in value between about BND18,000 for short term Executive Fellowships, up to about BND275,000 for full PhD Research Scholarships.

The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships include a range of categories.

  • Research scholarships to study a full Masters or PhD (2-4 years) at an Australian University
  • Research Fellowships for short term research (4-6 months) in Australia as part of a non-Australian Masters, PhD or postdoctoral research program.
  • VET scholarships for vocational Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree study in Australia
  • Executive Fellowships for high achieving individuals working in government, education or other industries to undertake professional development activities in Australia.
