International Women’s Fair 2011

It’s all system go for the International Women’s Fair 2011 which is set to welcome visitors until June 19 at International Convention Centre in Berakas.

Co-organised by S-Team Solutions Event Management, Elricco Digital and Multimedia Co and the Brunei’s Women Business Council, the event will feature an International Expo, the launching of the Brunei Women Entrepreneur Award 2010, and the International Wedding Showcase.

Datin Hajah Adina binti Haji Othman, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Culture Youth and Sports was present to launch the fair.

According to organisers, apart from the 230 booth occupied by vendors promoting various products, Upin and Ipin will also make an appearance at the main stage of the Plenary Hall three-times daily during the four-day event.

Co-founder of International Wedding Showcase, Hajah Norhayatti Haji Hassan, during an interview with the Bulletin said that the showcase would be a time for vendors to meet clients, and vice versa.

Her counterpart, Elricco also told the Bulletin that the showcase would feature one of the country’s most comprehensive wedding products and services.

“Most of the vendors are going all out to promote their wedding products and service,” she added.

For the convenience of visitors, shuttle buses will be provided at strategic locations at the Indoor Stadium. The International Women’s Fair 2011 opens from 10am to 10pm daily until June 19.
