Congratulations Concepts!

Posted on 25/04/200927/04/2009 By Reedz

After what may have seemed like a long await among eager folks, leading local computer retailer Concepts Computer officially opened its newest branch yesterday.

Strategically located near the largest roundabout in the country, Concepts staff gathered early to prepare for the unveiling of what their boss, Vincent Pao, called "their new home".

Minutes before the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Pao, who is Concepts Managing Director, told reporters that he intended for the new branch to be like a second home for his employees, all of whom are Bruneian. In Concepts’ 10 years of operation, the company has enjoyed what can be considered an extremely low turnover rate in comparison to many other private companies operating in the Sultanate. Many of the faces at the shop 10 years ago can still be seen today, providing a testament to its employee satisfaction.

The new branch has three floors, and is sectioned by various services provided.

Guests at yesterday’s ceremony were invited for a quick tour before the buffet was served.

Offering a range of certified IT products, such as Acer and Microsoft, Concepts has become one of the fastest growing companies in the country.

Pao attributed the company’s success to teamwork and customer satisfaction. "We have demonstrated to our customers, with our team that is 100-per-cent local, that we are fully committed to providing the highest level of customer service and support."

He also noted that all the loyalty and support from customers have encouraged the company to strive even harder to providing better services.

"We are confident that Brunei’s economy will remain vibrant throughout the global recession that we are facing," he said. "Concepts will continue to invest and grow, as well as create more meaningful jobs for Bruneians."  — Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
