One morning at Tyremart

Posted on 08/08/200808/05/2019 By Reedz

The boys from the Orient Express are back in town! Last year they brought the house down at every venue they performed and I’m expecting no less this year! They will be performing at SMS International school this afternoon from 2.30 to 3.30pm. Tomorrow night they will perform at Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports from 7.30 to 9pm, and on Sunday, they’ll be at the Mall from 4 to 6pm. Make sure you catch these awesome performers at least once!

Tyremart in Gadong has one of the best car grooming services in town I reckon. There are others but none offer an air-conditioned lounge where you can make yourself a cup of coffee and watch a movie on the tube while waiting for your car.

They also use Autoglym products, a brand synonymous with high quality car detailing and grooming which is used by top notch marques like Jaguar and Aston Martin. Anyway, these pics were taken one morning while waiting for the AB-mobile to be washed.

Why the iPad is a bigger threat to our children than anyone realises

Posted on 10/02/201629/04/2021

Some say children need to use technology because that’s the way the world is going. But there’s no need to give little children high-tech devices. Modern technology develops at a phenomenal rate – any IT skills that children learn before the age of seven will be long past their sell-by…

Concepts Computer Recycles Monitors

Posted on 31/08/200907/09/2009

Update 7th Sept 2009: According to @TheWheat who asked Concepts management if they were going to recycle it and if so which recycling center, he was told they would throw them away (after giving away working monitors) cause recyclers didn’t want to pay for them. Previously he said they did…

    Very true!
I have been to other car grooming shops before, but none so far can compare to Tyremart Gadong’s very relaxed ambience.

And if I may add, the car wash people are very friendly and accomodating.
