Breaking fast on a field – Padang Style Posted on 09/08/2011 By Reedz Last night, the kids and I trooped on over to the newly renovated Pondok Sari Wangi Sengkurong to try out the sungkai buffet which was made up of padang dishes including ayam assam pedas, tempe goreng mandarin, pakis sambal, tahu, dendeng belado, daging tongseng and others. It was a veritable feast of flavours and textures marked by the typical spiciness (but not hot) that padang cuisine is famous for. The kids enjoyed their meal at PSW and so did I. Their sungkai buffets are running at the Gadong and Sengkurong Branch from the 3rd to the 30th of August 2011. For reservation please call: 2445043 for Gadong Branch and 2661893 for Sengkurong Branch.
