The Authority for Info-Communication Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) in collaboration with Prestariang Systems Sdn Bhd will be conducting a 2-day training session for IC Citizen Training & Certification especially targeted for bloggers and any interested Internet users.

There are two choices of dates for the sessions, i.e. 25 to 26 July or 27 to 28 July. The sessions run for two full days from 8.30am to 4.30am, so for those who are working, you may need to apply for leave. This is a FREE certification course, so grab this opportunity fast as seats are limited!

PROGRAM APPROACH

The program which certifies the trainer on the knowledge and understanding of the following 8 Values:

e-Access: Understanding the privilege to use electronic information in society as well as the rights to an equitable, secure and reliable access.

e-Literate: The level of capabilities to use technology and knowing when, when not and how to use it appropriately. It highlights how online behaviour will have major consequences offline.

e-Rule: Governing communication and technology use. This includes respect for ownership & authorship.

e-Safety: The measures and best practices for Netizen to guard their personal safety and the security of their networks. It teaches them the concept of 2P – Predators & Pornography.

e-Interaction & Collaboration: The learning highlights the exchange and sharing of information using digital systems or tools. It includes humility, loyalty and respect for other when communicating.

e-Enterprise: The business conducted online using any of the Internet-based Applications. The concept of ‘common sense’ is also key.

e-Care: Physical and psychological well-being in a digital technology world.

e-Accountability: The privileges and responsibilities of all users, ethical behaviour and expectations that come with it. It also includes credibility and integrity of online content and critical thinking about what is true or false.
