Happy Thursday everyone! Couple of weeks ago, the FIL, the gentleman on the left in the pic above (on the right is my dad 🙂 ) turned 69 and all the grandkids decided to throw him a party…

Don’t let the age fool you though. The FIL is still as sprightly as ever and often times, I am in awe of his physical condition which rivals those half his age… most notably, yours truly! Never one to sit idle, he is always either in the garden tending to his amazing botanical wards, or driving his grandkids to and from school. The latter being very important to him, being a former educator himself.

Selamat Menyambut Ulangtahun ke 69 Nini Jamil! Semoga dipanjangkan umur dan dimurahkan rezeki! Amin! – Dari anaknda2 dan cucunda2 tersayang.

How did you do this year?

Posted on 31/12/202310/07/2026

The tradition of summing up one’s year, often seen in the form of reflections, resolutions, and retrospectives, is a curious cultural practice that merits deeper consideration, especially given the inherently continuous and evolving nature of our lives. This annual ritual, performed by many as the year draws to a close,…
