Happy Independence Day

Posted on 06/07/200822/01/2013 By Reedz

Pics taken during the 4th of July reception hosted by the US embassy at Empire Hotel last night. The theme was “New Orleans” and the Indera Kayangan ballroom was transformed into a picturesque bayou with greenery and street benches all over. The food was typical cajun fare with my favorite dish being the black-eyed peas! Yumzzz!

Incidentally, 4th of July is also my wedding anniversary and this year we had a quiet celebration with dinner and a movie for two. More about the evening in another post 😉
