Aidil, Laila, Bahagia Posted on 08/03/200808/05/2019 By Reedz Finally attended a session of the legislative council today… It was a very interesting experience. Seeing how issues were being debated by members of the legisco. One thing that was very apparent was the lack of people in the audience. I think only a tenth of the seats were filled this morning, and even those were civil servants who were accompanying their ministers. I would strongly encourage the public to come and see for themselves how legislation is decided in this nation of ours. More on the legisco at the headboy’s site. can members of d public come to the session? Don’t you need invitations to get in? I’d like to attend one of the session just to get the feeling of how the debate is going on..
surkrew: tomorrow is the last day I think, so get on down there dude! Be there by 8.30am dressed in smart attire. Just get a pass at the gate 🙂 Hope to see you there!
Thing is we didn’t know the sessions were open to the public. Knowing this, I’ll make sure to come over when they have more sessions.
