Doing Business in Brunei

Posted on 21/11/200722/01/2013 By Reedz

Pics taken at the presentation of the Ease of Doing Business Report 2008 done by World Bank. According to the report, Brunei’s overall ranking in the World Bank’s “Doing Business Index” among 178 countries is 78th. We’re in the top 50% but there’s still a loooong way to go.

I think it’s great that we’re opening ourselves up to these rankings because we can then see whether we’re progressing or regressing.

Oh, by the way, if you want to start up a business, do it in Denmark. You can do it completely online, it takes just one day, and its FREE! I think it currently takes 18 procedures and 166 days and more than a couple of bucks in our neck of the woods. Room for improvement? I think so…
