BEDB Luncheon with Petronas CEO

The President or Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Petronas Malaysia, Tan Sri Dato Seri Mohammad Hassan Merican, yesterday delivered a luncheon address on “Strategies for Adding Value to Petroleum Resources”, hosted by the Brunei Economic Development Board BEDB. During the presentation, Tan Sri Hassan Merican said that besides upstream oil and gas exploration and production, LNG, refining and shipping, Petronas has extensive interest in petrochemical downstream industries including a fertilizer plant in Bintulu and a methanol plant in Labuan.

Among those present were the Minister of Culture Youth and Sports, Retired Major General Pehin Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Mohammad, the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Pehin Dato Seri Setia Awang Lim Jock Seng, Deputy Minister of Industry and Primary Resources and Deputy Minister of Development.
