Little Nina came up to me a few nights ago asking, “Daddy, what does “gay” mean?” I give her the four year old’s version of the definition of course, “Gay means “happy” lai…” “Oh”, she says, “I’m so gay daddy, see, I’m smiling!”

Quickly realizing my folly, I interject with, “No lai, gay ani means happy but it’s for orang basar saja…” “I see… Are you gay daddy?” she asks me immediately while looking at my face. “I guess not ah, cos you’re not smiling…” *BOINGGGGG*
