Starbucks opened its first store in Brunei on February 16, 2014 at one of the most popular shopping destinations in Brunei, Mabohai Shopping Complex located at Bandar Seri Begawan which is the center of Brunei’s commerce, finance and government. In many ways, it is also the heart of Brunei’s cultural landscape, housing some of the nation’s most revered landmarks. This Starbucks store has been designed to reflect Starbucks 43-year coffee heritage, while embracing the country’s distinctive local traditions and culture.
