From here:

A modern take on the traditional hawker centre, the Straits Kitchen, located at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, offers Halal Chinese, Malay and Indian cuisine. Designed by the world renowned design firm Super Potato, this restaurant is sleekly furnished in steel, wood and marble.

Tuck into an endless list of local favourites like Laksa (spicy Peranakan soup), Hainanese Chicken Rice, Satay (barbequed meat skewers) and Rojak (local salad dish), as well as Middle Eastern dishes, such as  Babaganoush (mashed eggplant), Tabouleh (Middle Eastern salad), Kabab Halla (stewed beef)and Ktayef (Lebanese pancakes), prepared exclusively by guest chefs from the Hyatt Regency Dubai.
