Dirgahayu Kebawah Duli Tuan Patik

For the last 6 years I have not missed a single birthday celebration kickoff in town except for last year when I was abroad. Having missed last year, this morning I was super excited to capture the moments of the event.

This year, the presence of social media really came to the fore with folks on twitter using a special hashtag of #HM65 to tweet about the whole event and also the convey birthday greetings to His Majesty. The greetings are still flowing in last I checked. This is only testament to how revered and loved our beloved monarch is.

Enjoy the photos 🙂
