Fam Trippin’ to Melaka Posted on 09/10/201022/01/2013 By Reedz A group photo with Exco Negeri Melaka, Datuk Seet Har Cheow and Mr. Marwan bin Azar, of the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents, and the Travel Agents operating in Melaka at the welcoming dinner at the Naza Talyya hotel in Melaka last Monday. At the welcoming dinner, travel agents from Brunei and Melaka had a chance to network and exchange information on products available from both parties. Melaka, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has a lot to offer in not just historical sites, but also in shopping, handicrafts, food and in recent years, Medical Tourism, which sees three hospitals working in concert to promote affordable, quality healthcare compared to anywhere else in the region. I will post more on Medical Tourism later on. This photo was taken at KLIA, before our departure by coach to Melaka. After the 2hr 30mins plane ride, a 2 hour bus ride was… a bit… rough… This is if I remembered our route correctly, I tried logging the trip on GPS, but my battery died on me. More will be posted in the coming days.
