The second Bruneian Postgraduate Seminar was held yesterday at the Brunei Gallery in the School of Oriental and  African Studies, University of London.

Mr BR delivering his talk, “Sustainable Development for Brunei Darussalam: Issues and Challenges.” He touched upon several key issues being faced by the government in ensuring sustainable development towards Wawasan 2035 including hydrocarbons, land, health, environment, and perhaps most importantly, change of mindset of our people.

Da missus and I caught the world premiere of The Warlords last night at the Empire Cinema. My very first impression of the movie as it started was, “Gee this looks familiar…” The movie is set in the 1860s, during the Taiping Rebellion in the late Qing Dynasty in China….
