Majlis Khatam al-Quran PAPMNB 2009

Bandar Seri Begawan – PAPMNB Religious School, Kilanas recently held a khatam al-Quran ceremony for its 2008 morning and afternoon Primary Six students.

The ceremony was aimed at encouraging students to continue reading the Quran after completing their studies at the school.

The guest of honour at the event was the Assistant Chief Executive Officer, Brunei Economic Development Board, Dr Hj Abdul Manaf Hj Metusin.

The event started with the recital of surah al-fatihah led by the guest of honour followed by the khatam recital.

The guest of honour, officers, invited guests and parents sprinkled “bunga rampai on the participants followed by the presentation of certificates. Primary Four and Five students sang the Dikir Marhaban.
