Pics taken during The Crown Prince CIPTA 2009 Award Prize Presentation Ceremony which took place yesterday at the Empire. The Guest of Honour was His Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.

CIPTA is a biennial competition for Creative, Innovative Product and Technological Advancement. It is organized by Institut Teknologi Brunei in partnership with Brunei LNG and co-sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank. The competition is graced with the patronage of His Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah.

The main aim of the competition is to encourage innovation and creativity for national development in Brunei Darussalam. The CIPTA competition has received a large number participation from individuals and teams over the years.

In conjunction with the event, a showcase of the participating entries from the Crown Prince CIPTA 2009 Award will also be held.

The showcase will be held for two days at the Indera Pura Lounge, Level 4 in the Empire Hotel & Country Club starting from 12noon to 4:30pm on Saturday, 14th March 2009 and from 9:30am to 4:30pm on Sunday, 15th March 2009.
