The UNICEF Check Out for Children™ Challenge is held annually that is run by Starwood employees in the Asia Pacific region. In conjunction with this, the hotel tied up with Brunei Art Forum to hold a joint art exhibition. The art exhibition was a one day event that was held yesterday at Sheraton Utama Hotel’s Mutiara Ballroom with aims of not only creating awareness of UNICEF and the Challenge, but to promote local artists as well.

“We have received an overwhelming response from both the artists from Brunei Art Forum as well as the public for this themed ‘Child Survival’ exhibition. It was great to see people connecting with each other through art,” stated Wena Hj Hamidon, Sheraton Utama Hotel’s UNICEF Ambassador.

The Sheraton Utama Hotel and its UNICEF Committee would like to thank Brunei Art Forum and the public for their support towards the cause.
