It was an interesting morning spent listening to the folks at Telbru deliver technical information in layman’s terms, and giving informative tips and advice on maximizing your broadband connection. I was more than happy to share my experience with Telbru spanning from the very beginning with dial-up connection to the present with full time broadband connection.

Dropping in the quiz responses. Everyone did so because the prize is a Dell Laptop!

I’m a telbru’s espeed subscriber n using NETGEAR 108 Mbps wireless router WGT624 at home to connect to the internet. My question is why I always get disconnected using my laptop HP Pavilion dv2202TX with MS Window Vista Home edition but no problem with my old laptop ACER TravelMate 660 series with MS window XP home edition. It disconnected more esp. when I tried open websites of bigger size. For your information also, so far no problem when I’m using cable plug in for both laptops. People said VISTA is not stable for wireless connection, that’s why Bmobile ZOOM’s free DELL notebook using MS window XP rather than VISTA. Is it true? I ve tried with other wireless connection in the cafes, the same problem, disconnected-on and off. What could be the problems, the MS window OS or my wireless router or telbru’s espeed???

Its nothing to do with your espeed or wireless Router, as you mentioned that your HP facing the same problem while you are in Cafes too.. try to update your Firmware for your wireless OR there is some problem with your OS in your HP pavilion.
Vista is gonna launch their Service Pack 1 Soon, so be patient. and Vista is having More Security Feature compare to XP 😉
