Ministry of Health Commemorates 100 Years Posted on 15/11/200722/01/2013 By Reedz I missed the opening of the Health Convention this morning but managed to drop by later in the day. It looks geared to be an awesome event with lots of talks and seminars which are open to the public on topics ranging from cancer trends to oral health to obesity and diabetes. The ICC is definitely gonna be one of the places to be this weekend! I met Safwan and Wardah from Maktab Duli who were really friendly and eager to inform the public about their Health Awareness Club. It’s really gratifying to see that the students are becoming more proactive in creating awareness of health issues like breast cancer, AIDS, Leukemia, and teen pregnancies. Well done kids! I’m definitely going again to the ICC tomorrow to attend some of the concurrent sessions. See you there!
