Abacus Hari Raya Open House

Posted on 08/11/2007 By Reedz

Abacus held its annual Hari Raya open house for its partners and travel industry players today. I was invited to attend the function and it was great to finally visit the abacus office and find out a bit more about them. Abacus Distributions Systems (B) Sdn Bhd is a service provider for the travel industry specializing in travel information and reservations. Those terminals you see on your travel agents’ desks are most likely Abacus terminals which are hooked up to a central system. They make life easier for both the travel agent, and you. I wonder how ticket reservations were done by travel agents prior to the introduction of Abacus’ terminals??

I wonder what this was all about??

As we stand on the brink of Brunei Darussalam’s 40th National Day celebration, I find myself reflecting deeply on what this day signifies for us as a nation and for me personally. This milestone is not just a marker of time; it’s a tapestry of our collective dreams, struggles, and…
