40 years and counting…

Today, October 5, 2007, marks the 40th year since His Majesty Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam ascended the royal throne.

anakbrunei.org joins the whole of Brunei today in rejoicing a monarch with gratitude and prosperity as His Majesty celebrates 40 years of being the monarch of Brunei Darussalam.

Kumpulan Gambus Kunci Batu

These boys hail from KB and they are hotstuff on the gambus scene. I first saw them perform at Casa del Don Diego. Apparently they are usually pretty heavily booked for weddings, birthdays, and other such events. They ROCK!
