Discovering Life's Insights, One Thought at a Time.

Fête du Québec

Posted on 28/06/2007 By Reedz

Above are pictures of my Canadian biker chick friend Vanessa and her gang. Vanessa is an old friend from the early days of #Brunei on IRC. How she ended up in channel #Brunei I have no idea, but she did, and she won the hearts of many of us by being a regular on the channel. In fact, she was one of the early channel #Brunei operators.

I actually visited her when I was in Montreal for work. On her apartment wall, she had a list of frequently used Bruneian malay terms in the channel which she translated into French as a reference list which allowed her to carry out a conversation in Brunei malay with anyone on the channel! She actually came across as being Bruneian! Amazing stuff!

See you at the i-Center tomorrow nice and early! Good night…
