RTB Media Carnival & BITC Posted on 30/01/2011 By Reedz The Radio Television Brunei (RTB) Media Carnival has returned for its third outing, and was officially launched yesterday at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas. The carnival was launched by the Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Dato PadukaAwang Haji Abd Wahab bin Juned. The RTB Media Carnival 2011 is part of RTB’s annual activities, in line with its strategic plan, which sees the carnival being utilised as a platform to expose the public to RTB’s digital TV services and products. Among the carnival’s aims include providing an opportunity for the public to see and obtain a closer understanding of how exactly RTB operates, as well as their TV programmes and products. It is also to showcase RTB’s development from an analogue to a digital broadcasting system, while at the same time offering information regarding the new features of its digital services. Apart from that, the carnival also acts as platform to scout for new talents through auditioning a number of different television roles, such as the role of a TV news anchor, or in the talent search "I Got Talent". Activities held during the carnival include "Kerjaya", "Ingat-Ingat Lupa", Amplified, "Bersama Artis", "Idola Ku", "Seni Sendiwara", Brunei Shutters, Best 91.4, DJ Junior, "Bersama Bintang", "Anjung Budaya", "Al Kuliah", Sports Lingo, Mandarin Tunes, "Bermukun", The Star Factor and many others. The main highlight of the carnival is the "RTB Award Night 2010" which will be aired live on RTB 2. The RTB Media Carnival 2011 is open from 8am to 10pm until January 30. — Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Related
