On the 16th of October 2010, despite the ending of Syawal, Bruneians in Kent still celebrated Hari Raya with joy and vigour no less. The event was held at Darwin Missing Ling, in Peter Brown Room. A selection of delicacies was provided by the committee members while others brought dishes of their own making the event a bit more personal and special. Games were also played to invigorate the atmosphere. 64 individuals including Malaysians and other nationalities had participated in commemorating the month of Syawal which is celebrated annually by Muslims around the world.
