b2.0: Borneo Bloggers + New Media Dialogue

Bloggers and new media practitioners from Borneo Island and South East Asia Region will have their first meet up for networking and dialogue session on 29th to 30th October 2010, held at 1Borneo Grand Ballroom, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysian Borneo.

The event dubbed as B2.0 Borneo Bloggers + New Media Dialogue will be a social gathering that focuses on networking, collaboration & dialogue on case studies, ideas, trends, best practices & issues relating to bloggers + new media in Borneo as well as the South East Asia region.

Featured presentations and dialogues include The Power of Blogging & Social Media, The Regional Blogosphere of Borneo- challenges and opportunities, Social Engagement Through Social Media, Pooling / Aggregation of Knowledge, Collaborative Marketing Initiative, Blog Monetization, Web Advertising, Web Start Ups and Social Media Capabilities.

B2.0 features local and international speaker to assist in the creative dialogue & case studies. The experienced speakers are Azrul Rahim, highly regarded Joomla commercial developer, Rob Angeles, founder & Author of Social Media Philippines, Eddie Law, founder of eLawyer.com & LawEddie.com, Yan Phun, founder of FlickEvents, Singapore and Addy Kho, the E-Commerce & marketing expert, Reeda Malik founder of anakbrunei.org and many more.

Organized by BorneoColours.com, an independent new media & community portal for Borneo Island, houses Bornean online community from Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia & international community. The organizer plans to have B2.0 Dialogue as a yearly platform for a creative and positive discussion and most importantly an avenue to help participant build networks and regional collaboration.

Welcoming dinner and a preview dialogue will also be held in conjunction with Sabahan Bloggers Gathering 2010 on the 28th October 2010 from 6.30pm – 9.30pm, hosted by Sabahan Bloggers Community and sponsored by Imperial International Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
