Saturday afternoon walkabout

Being cooped up in the library was seriously getting to me, so I decided to take a stroll around the city this afternoon…

Crossroads like these are very common here and are very useful in giving you an idea of where you are. Especially useful for people with lousy sense of direction (like yours truly heheh!)

The Park near Opal Court was named after Nelson Mandela in 1989

I love the name of this place. Someone was probably sitting down at the Leicester market one morning and noticed a slug on the lettuce, and VOILA!
