Sigh.. 🙁 Two things make me sad for this. One, I can’t go due to a wedding.. and two.. the economic factor. We have to bring our currency over to another country just because our own wont let us enjoy the game. Another ‘leakage’ due to silly policies.
Aku: baik sediakan camera armor sebelum turun padang bro… mun nda abis krg 70-200 ah heheheh! David: thats right… I think the players who are going should record all their spendings during their trip and then we can see just exactly how much of our currency has leaked on this, the first “in-exile” tournament for our paintballers….
$150 x 60 = $9000 multiplied by say 2 games a month = $18000 multiplied by 12 months = $216,000 when u put that into the equation for this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplier_effect and an example of how this affects our economy http://planning.ucsc.edu/budget/Reports/EconImpact/EC2001-02.htm hopefully, the people that are restricting this will see the impact it will have.. but either way.. I wanna go!!! 🙁
The same thing happened for our women footie players. They have to organise soccer weekends in Miri just to have a tournament. Sad lah
We have a tournemnet last month in Miri 2nd Merdeka Carnival and most bruneian teams and players won the major prizes( top 3)… check our website for results…And I support Paintball too… i played it before in perth while I study there… It was really fun and wish to have it here… but, we dono when it’s going to be legal here ?? hopely there’s a paintball area in miri so that we can go down and play paintball regularly…
