Drums and Lions amidst a Sea of Red…

Posted on 15/02/200708/05/2019 By Reedz

PDS School had their early Chinese New Year performance today and everyone turned up in Red. As usual, the kids blew me away with their talent and skills!

The Lion Dance was very impressive with some nice acrobatic moves. The chinese drums team were absolutely spectacular, not surprising with the number of performances under their belt. VKI finalist Azy also made an appearance with her rendition of “Biarlah Rahsia“.

An enjoyable afternoon despite the searing heat of the afternoon sun beating down unforgivingly on us heheh…

Posted on 18/02/200918/08/2026

Congratulations to RTB on the successful conclusion of the Anugerah RTB 2008 Carnival last weekend! I dropped by the ICC on the first day but unfortunately it was already 6pm and most booths were closed for the day. These were all I got. More awesome pics at Karyawan’s site.

I especially liked the second shot. Did you realized that you could see the mosque punya, what you call it, minaret (?) on the background? Excellent composition.

Don’t forget to come for the Sg Liang Soon Lee’s lion dance, it’s at night (20 Feb)so the it should look even more special.
