A Wedding Affair…

Posted on 30/01/2007 By Reedz

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the wedding reception of a couple of ex-colleagues. It was held at the Royal Berkshire Hall in JP Polo Club, still the most resplendent venue for an event like this in my mind…

It was a wonderful occasion and I caught up with several friends and ex-colleagues some of whom I had not seen in ages. Anyway, what happens when you put a shutterbug in a hall full of people? His hunting instinct takes over… heheh enjoy!

You attended this function last night and today you already produced the video?! You’re fast man. Excellent video too, might I say. Lovely shots of the people.

Wow – simply superb and you chose the right music to go with the slideshow.

jewelle: thank you hehe speed of production is inversely proportional to how much you consider something a “job” as opposed to a “passion”… does that make sense?

My god, I love the music background, nearly made my eyes tear….. Are they from a band? Which country?

yes I personally love this track as well… stirs your soul… Rodrigo y Gabriela are a Mexican musical duo who specialize in playing fast, rhythmic acoustic guitars. The pair are from Mexico City, Mexico and met there in a thrash metal band called “Tierra Acida”.

Growing frustrated with the limited scope of the domestic music scene, they pulled up roots and moved to Europe (specifically Ireland), where they have met considerable acclaim. They’ve just released their 3rd album in the US to a great response.
