A night at the Opera Posted on 23/09/201008/05/2019 By Reedz Every year, during the mid-autumn mooncake festival, the chinese opera troupe from Xiamen come round to perform at the Chinese temple in BSB. I missed it last year so this year I made it a point to drop by. Apologies to my buddy the chief for having to step out from his raya function early 😉 Yup its the same troupe alright 😉 Massive crowd turned out… they need a bigger venue Pehin Lau and other prominent members of the chinese community were there So was my buddy Mr Nano 😀 Performer getting warmed up back stage The money furnace was churning in full force Burning incense in reverence to deities Interesting lanterns on show including this one modelled after the KLCC Twin Towers! There was free soya bean this year! The Nikon D300s colour balance is spot on I must say!
