Congratulations to the Singapore Slingers on their convincing victory over last year's champs, the LG Sakers. It was a one-sided game from the start with the Sakers getting a slow start and never really getting into gear. Little Jason Castro was undoubtedly MVP for the night as he weaved his way into the Sakers' defence to deliver stunning shots. All in all, a great championship and most importantly, I managed to get some invaluable sports photography practice! Until next year...

What an electrifying finish to the semi-finals game which I managed to catch last night between the Darwin Airport All-stars and the Singapore Slingers! Up to the very last seconds, Darwin All-stars were leading by a precarious margin and less than 3 seconds to the final buzzer, out of nowhere, Jason Castro of the Slingers scored a heart-stopping 3 pointer to pip Darwin's lead by two points! Geez whiz what a finish and what a disappointment for the Darwin Airport All-stars
