After dinner at the Atrium on Tuesday night, da missus and I had a stroll around and came across this group who were shooting a documentary on the Japanese art of Ikebana or flower arrangement. It was interesting to observe the interaction between the camera crew and the non-english speaking ladies who were demonstrating the art.
Ok folks, I’ve been meaning to do this prominent young Bruneian series for some time now, and I guess its about time. The forum covered many aspects of branding, from master branding to word of mouth and everything in between… this is the second time the speaker, Paul Temporal is in Brunei to share his thoughts on branding with us. Mission was finally accomplished for the 2008 AB and Friends Pyjama Night with the presentation of the cheque to SMARTER Brunei yesterday at the Empire Cinema. Feels good to finally present the cheque Tks RJ63 for being on hand to take the pics! Heheh!
On to the topic for today, i.e. broken filters. Over the last few weeks, the filter on my Sigma 70-200 lens broke not once but TWICE! Fortunately it was just the filter and not the lens itself! Mun nda, nangis nda belagu tuuuu…

As of this afternoon, around 150 out of the over 1,000 visitors to the event had lodged their applications for subsidies to AiTi. Thats over 10 percent. Pretty good going if you ask me. I hope ALL of them get approved for the courses they want to do. Good luck to all!

Pics below taken during the seminar on listing conducted jointly by CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and Bursa Malaysia - the Malaysian stock exchange. The seminar, which is the first of its kind to be held in Brunei, covered quite a bit of ground on the stock exchange and how to get listed. After a failed first attempt at a Brunei Exchange, I hope this endeavour will at least bear some fruit for some of our local big guns which already meet the criteria for listing e.g. the telcos, infrastructure construction companies, major supermarket chains etc.
