I was lucky enough to stay indoors last night because of the heavy rain that caused major traffic jam around Brunei. My friends had their homes flooded to the knee level. Electricity at some areas have been cut off. One of my friends’ house has no water (ironic indeed). Even this morning, there is a huge jam because the tunnel area below the big roundabout has been closed. Apparently last night, the tunnel was filled up with flood and the police have no choice but to close the tunnel. More pictures at Brunei Motors and AnakBrunei. I had to wait like 2 1/2 hours later to go back to my simpang waiting for the flood water to subside and once we reached home, it didn't even help that there was no electricity! Crazy!
