A midsummer night's dream...

They were electric! And they were certainly youthful!

Pics taken at the Maktab Duli Gala Night last night at the Empire Hotel & Country Club. These kids really know how to put on a show! Congratulations mel, dilla, diqin, halim, and the rest of organizing team on a jolly good job! Pat yourselves on the back!

During my time, there was no such thing as a gala night or prom night... as far as I can recall lah heheh! But yeah, it was an awesome night with some pretty talented performers like NJ and T, Tri serra, and others putting on a great show. The music was thumping and the crowd was grooving. Oh to be young and carefree...

Ada prom night sudah..12 years ago mana ada ni...Geng i love your shots of the singing lady, why didnt you filter it geng..ketara noisenya..with your permission, can i filter and tweak it a bit..?

Billy: Yeah I wish we had prom nights during our time heheh! I did filter it but I think the noise added to the ambience of the shot, so I used this version instead heheh. Feel free to tweak it geng!

I run it through the Ninja, sharpened, colour tweak, WB with the Aperture. Gian sudah tanganku ani kan mengambar..never really had the oppurtunity..been very booked up with work.

The edited pic looks way better than the original, what steps did Billy use in photoshoping the photo ?

I filtered it with Noise Ninja by increasing the levels, i didn't use the Photoshop as it was edited with Aperture, sharpened the whole pic and apply the edge sharpening. Custom white balance by using the singer's eye as the white index and lastly boast the purple color channel. Reeda did a fantastic job taking the picture. Cheers.
