Eid at the Mawaz-Khans’

Posted on 26/10/200726/10/2007 By Reedz

The raya spirit is STILL going strong with open-house invitations scheduled over this weekend as well. Last night, we visited the home of my dapper financier friend and his lovely family. S used to also be the high-commissioner of Pakistan to Brunei some time ago. But these days, he is busy making deals in the financial world. Thanks S and A for having us! It was a lovely evening with great food and great company!

Wow, the food looks amazing – did the lady of the house cooked them herself or do they have a chef? Yums!. E.

Hi E! When are you starting your apprenticeship??

The food was amazing! Authentic pakistani cuisine which despite my pakistani heritage, I very seldom get to indulge in!

I’m not sure about the rest of the dishes, but I recall the lady of the house mentioning that she was cooking the chicken biryani 🙂

Oh I forgot to mention, there was a bbq stand serving freshly cooked tandoori chicken manned by this chap heheh!
