The second photo IS the kind of shots I'm trying to learn. Hubby said read the book (we have one) but am too lazy!

Kotohuadan Jewelle. In addition to the books, the photography links I've put on the right are good resources to learn from. Personally, I feel I learn better from looking at others' pics and then experimenting on how to get it right. Of course, the basics must be there like exposure, aperture, shutterspeed, depth of field etc... Good luck!
